Mr Madikizela holds a B.Com. Degree in Business Management and Industrial Psychology.
Mr. Madikizela has always had the passion for small businesses development; in 2002 he built up a telecentre in nyanga to assist the small businesses of this community and surroundings to access basic services, they used this centre to access faxes, emails, and even telephonic messages for their businesses, most of these businesses are now bigger and operating on their own.
He didn’t stop there, in 2011 through SABC touching lives program, he heeded a call of an old sick man who was staying in a raining shack inneed of a house, Mr Madikizela build a 45m2 two bedroomed house and donated to Mr Nzima of Nyanga township for free. In 2012 he identified another needy family in Mfuleni Cape Town and built them a house also for free.
ENCA Archives- Cape Town, October 21 - Businessman Thobile Madikizela has built a new house for Ntombesine Rotya, a single mother of seven. The construction company owner says growing up in a poor, single-parent family himself, he identified with Rotya and wanted to help.
He is a also a qualified Estate Agent and has worked for various companies including Jawitz Property Group as the Property Sales Associate and MTN as Regional Sales Manager, Audi SA as Group Marketing Manager, Department of Communications as Chief Director, SA Fleet Services as CEO, TM Group as Group CEO and TM Constructions as Operations Director.
Mr. Madikizela has always wanted to assist in creating a change in this country particularly for small business; this is the reason why he started this organization to help these small contractors.
Ms Lee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of the Western Cape and has successfully completed an Executive Leadership Development Program at Gordons Institute of Business.
Lindy has determinedly pursued her personal vision when she hold a position as a Senior Commercial/IT Executive. Her career choices have been made to support and hone the development of her skills and have further given her opportunities to acquire the leadership insights and expertise that will equip her to lead successfully.
As Head of Commercial Management at T-Systems South Africa, Lindy Lee leads a team of multi-disciplinary experts in the fields of Pricing and Commercial Management. Lindy played an active role in the Executive Leadership Committee (ELCO) of T-Systems South Africa. Lindy and her team worked closely with Business Development to ensure that Commercial Principals are aligned with the Go to Market Strategy and further assist in ensuring the Competitive Advantage of both Services and Products.
Before joining SCASA, Lindy fulfilled the role of Financial Analyst at OLD MUTUAL GROUP (SOUTH AFRICA), deployed to Project ROSA which was an initiative spanning across the Group and the largest infrastructure outsourcing deal in the history of the Financial Services Industry in South Africa with a total spend of approximately R1.8bn.
Sobantu graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 1993 and work extensively in the education sector as a teacher, he then moved to Old Mutual as financial advisor. He is a director of Umkwenkwe Investments which has interests with the Fruit and Veg Group.
Sobantu has since been involved in the housing sector, to which he has bought and sold a number of developments of land to different government departments. He is now the Director of Applewood Property Developments and they been involved in the PHP space since its inception, he brings a wealth of experience in assisting small contractors and guiding them in the construction industry.
